The Lord showed me two mounds of ground with a small depression in between where a stream was located. There were many planks forming across the two mounds of earth which were divided by the stream below. I looked again and this time I realized that what I had seen was not 2 mounds of earth but rather two mountains. And the valley between the mountains was not a small depression but rather a deep ravine within which a large river flowed. ( Imagine the Grand Canyon but only covered in grass)
The Lord drew my attention to three planks which he then described:
Plank 1 was solid, thick, secure and was able to sit snug in position between, allowing one to cross over to the other side
Plank 2 was solid, thick, secure but short of the required length , and therefore slipped into the ravine below
Plank 3 was slim and feeble, although it measured to the required length. However a plane ( kamikaze) flew into it wrecking it , causing it to burn with a great flame, before it crumbled into the ravine below
Interpretation
Mountain refers to mountain top positions, a point where a believer reaches, at some point in his or her life
Mountain A refers to where most Christians are. Mountain B is where God wants the believer to be. Mountain B is also where God is standing waiting to reveal his destiny for each believer.. where the Lord will walk side by side with the believer , as a friend , and as his Lord , guiding him through the matters regarding his destiny
Plank 1
Plank 1 refers to one who understood the task of getting to the other side, measured the finest wood, carved out the best thickness and allowed for sufficient capacity in length to make the cross over to the other side.
He had a great desire to cross over as he knew what awaited for him there, and his heart and desire was entirely on Mountain B
Plank 2
Plank 2 refers to one who had a desire to cross over and discover his destiny and to be intimate with his God. However, he had a shallow vision. and therefore did not understand the task at hand. ( the Lord showed me this shallow perspective by allowing me to to be standing where the Plank B person was standing on mountain A, looking at mountain B. From that position the whole ground covering mountain A and B seemed to look like one continous ground with no ravine in between. God seemed to be visible in the distance.) The Plank B person walks towards God whom he sees and then when he reaches the edge of mountain A, realizes that there is a depression between the two mounds. ( yes he sees the mountains, ravine and valley but only as 2 mounds of earth with a depression between and a stream below, due to his shallow , shortsighted vision.. Therefore he underestimates the task, takes it to be TRIVIALITY, and makes a plank that eventually misses its mark, because he took it just too simply.....
Plank 3
Plank 3 refers to one who though is a believer, and has reached a level of maturity, has still too many thistles and thorns and issues in his life that keeps him distracted from his God and the destiny that awaits him. The Kamikaze planes refer to the continual strategy of the enemy against this believer, in dissuading this person from making the cross to the other side;......... simply and only because he has not taken a stand against these issues, to overcome them; and therefore remains vulnerable to the war at hand against him
The Lord says that the secret of getting to Plank 1 is a sincere DESIRE for the Lord. One who sees the Lord in the distance, and is desirous of getting to Mountain B where He is, walks on until he sees the treacherous raavine between the two mountains and rapids that lie below. But he does not see this as a hinderance . His desire and love is so overwhelming that he puts everything aside, finds the best and strongest piece of wood, seeks out the right thickness to reduce bounce and deflection, exacts the length, and meticulously finishes it to desired requirement. He places it across the ravine and eagerly crosses over to the other side.
His desire is his God. His destiny is his FRIENDSHIP with his Maker, and the walk which he will take with HIM to fulfil the blueprint whcih He has for him.. His eyes are continuously on Him. Nothing can stop him. He wants to be where his Lord is. He seeks him with all his heart and he wants to go where his Lord will take him........
Desire!- Thats the bridge to your destiny! God challenges each and every believer unto a closer walk with him..... a kind of love relationship........... that makes you cling on to Him.
Which plank will you choose?
Listen to the following song from Doen Moen's that speaks of the same; for it is the same Spirit that dwells in each and everyone of us

Hi Alburn,
Funny that you should write this. Off late the Lord (given my rather shallowness in seeing dreams and visions although I really desire this and have been asking God but perhaps...not desiring it enough!)has also been speaking to me through this author called Oswald Chambers! This man really really had a heart chasing after God's heart. The key and operative word here is DESIRE or desiring of HIM! Thank you very much for sharing the vision. God Bless you, brother!
